It is Sin Sze’s birthday today. We get up earlier than usual to go to the Ocean Park. The theme park occupies a whole mountain and is located just next to the sea. With a cable car ride we go uphill and have a great view on this sunny day. The park suits people of all ages. They have a signature dolphin and sea lion show, several aquariums with sharks, stingrays, jellyfish, octopus, starfish and all sorts of sea animals. We go on a roller coaster, giant ship swing, ferris wheel and water splash roller coaster. We also visit the two cute pandas An An and Jia Jia who are living in the park. We are lucky to see Jia Jia so close eating bamboo and rolling on the ground.
In the evening, we meet Sin Sze’s family and relatives for her birthday dinner at a causual Japanese restaurant. It is a happy dinner with many delicious fine dishes.
