2008-09-11 Whale watching
Have not written anything for a Month now. Cause I didn’t do much in the last month, besides working. Told Boyd the tour guide from the Moreton Island tour about my design study and he offert me to build a Page for his new company. Will publish the page on my Portfolio as soon as it’s going to be released. Also worked on my Portfolio web page. Today was much more exiting. Some days ago I cached up with a very friendly Swedish guy called Ken. We booked a whale watching day tour. So we got up early take a cap to the pier and got on the boat. It’s a great sunny day today and it feels great to smell the fresh sea air. The Boat takes us to Moreton Island (yes the same island I have been before). We get some delicious Sea salt Vinegar Chips for breakfast. Back on the Boat we go to a bit away from the island. Soon the engine stops and the boat is going up and down with the weaves. Some awesome huge whales appear in the sea, curious to watch the people on the boat. They come really close and playfully go around the boat. We also spotted a sea turtle passing by. Unfortunately I get seasick from the up and down movement of the boat. Haven’t been on a ship for a while. Feel happy that we booked the 3h whale watching and not the 6h tour. Ken caught up with Jennifer and Linda, while I was leaning over the railing. Feel much better as we reached the Island again. We have some drinks with Linda and Jennifer and watch wild dolphins feeding. Ken and me head up back home with the ferry to Brisbane. Was a long and nice day.
