Jens is going to Alice Springs. I spend some days in Cairns, read about a game Convention in Melbourne and diced to fly there. I arrive in Melbourne at the end of October. It’s tough to find a place to stay cause there’s Halloween and the Melbourne Cup going on. People are dressing up for the horse races. Lady’s wear fancy hats and beautiful dresses. Not only the people dress fancy they also drive fancy cars. But that’s all year long. It’s really great that they drive older cars with character and not only the boring new cars. Lucky me Jen, who I meet on the whale watching tour in Brisbane, showed me around in Melbourne and invited me to a Melbourne Cup BBQ Party. And Jens came the great Ocean road along and stooped over in Melbourne for some days.
