2009-01-11 Sydney

I spend the Time after New Year to look for Jobs and do some Freelancer Work designing brochures. Igor and me became daylie customers of Burgerlicious. The Meals are that huge that it’s enough for two persons. So we decided to save money and share one Meal a day there.
Sarah who I know from Byron Bay moved to Sydney. She got a waitress job here and lives in a shared flat.
We went out to Party. There’s the Sydney Festival First Night going on right now. Free live Music everywhere. The City is very crowded. The Pyrophone Juggernaut at Martins Place was a really spectacular show which reminded me of the Blue Man Group. It’s a fire-fulled organ. The largest hand operated multi-octave fire organ in the world. They use Fire to make the sound. I made a video of the show that you can watch below.
We also went to the Three Wise Monkeys. It’s one of my favorite Bars in Sydney. They have free life music every night. This night was entertained by the Wildcatz. Later we went to the Scuba Bar wich is close to her place.
After the Party time in Sydney it’s time to make some money again. Luckily I still get a small freelance job from time to time that pays for the rent. I thought about flying to Tasmania to pick some fruits. Already bought working boots and looked after a flight and a Working Hostel. There’s a nice one called Balfes Hill . But after contacting the hostel and similar once I always got the reply that they are fully booked for the next two weeks and farmers have enough people who are working there. Then I got a call from “The Creative Assembly” where I applied for a Job earlier. They ask me to come in for a Interview. So I quickly booked a flight to Brisbane where they are located.
