Early today I have been looking for a place to wash my pile of dirty clothes. Right after we leave the house, we see a car from a laundry pickup and delivery service. What a great coincidence. I pass my laundry to the guy, pick up his business card and hope to get my clothes back clean and fast. It goes all fine and I am using this service now regularly. Fast, easy and affordable.
Together with Sin Sze, we have a great meal at “Shake’em Buns” burger restaurant. They serve very tasty onion rings and burgers with fresh made ingredients, unlike McDonald’s.
After I have a close look at a notebook at the Sony Centre which has two built-in graphic cards – a “powerful” one and a “power saving” one, we go to Wan Chai Computer Centre looking for a better price of the Sony notebooks. They cost less but not much. Later (after I buy the laptop) I find out that Sony advertises 6.5h of battery life which turns out to be 2h for real. The 6.5h is only under laboratory circumstances when you switch off the wireless network, the bluetooth, the DVD room, the hard disk and the display.
In the evening, we have dinner with Sin Sze’s mom at a Taiwanese restaurant. We take a walk through the night market at Temple Street where they sell all kinds of copy products. Sin Sze takes me to a car park so we have a good view of bright lit night market from above.
On the way back, we pass by Charlie’s Brown Cafe where we have a rest and taste some nice hot drinks. The place is nicely decorated with a Charlie Brown theme.
